LARKSPUR, Marin County — November 4, 2026. Three council seats were on the ballot in Larkspur, where the first late-night results placed Stephanie Andre, Sarah Margulies and Brian H. Jaffe at the top of the reported candidate selections. Election officials have not yet certified the result.
The first three counts
KQED’s November 3 report updated at 11:13 p.m. showed Stephanie Andre with 1,715 selections (25.5%), Sarah Margulies with 1,482 (22.0%) and Brian H. Jaffe with 1,073 (15.9%). Additional candidates competed, and the figures cannot determine the final three seats without the rest of the count.
What a three-seat election means
Each selection is recorded for a named candidate, but a resident could support multiple candidates. These percentages therefore refer to the share of recorded candidate selections, not individual voter turnout. Comparisons with single-office elections must account for the different voting structure.
What local readers should watch
Council representatives make decisions about municipal infrastructure, community services, planning and local financial priorities. As in other Marin communities, ballots that qualify under state law may be processed after Election Night, and the county expects multiple post-election updates.
